Naturally a teachers’ role is to focus on delivering the curriculum to students and therefore they do not necessarily have the time, indepth or up to date knowledge or skills to also teach students the extra skills they need to be able to study effectively.

Professional development sessions can be tailored in line with a school’s pastoral care program or developed as required in conjunction with student workshops to provide teachers with the skills to assist their students across all year levels and subjects.

In particular one of the key areas Amanda speaks about is how to incorporate study strategies into every day lessons.
